"During the summer, the committee and some members of the Limerick & District Chapter paid a visit to the Milford Care Centre to present a cheque for €1000 and a woodturned sycamore bowl after the sale of the award winning Chess Set for the Chapter Challenge."
It is with shock and sadness to hear of sudden death of our dear friend Liam Flynn, a true craftsman, artist and gentleman.
The Limerick & District Chapter had the pleasure of his company and were delighted that Liam demonstrated at our seminar in May, 2016.
Liam was a founding member of our Chapter 26 years ago.
In 2011, a retrospective of Liam's work was exhibited at the Hunt Museum, Limerick City.
He was an active member of the Abbeyfeale Cycling Club. Liam will be missed greatly by his family, relatives, friends and by the wider woodturning community. May he rest in peace.
